Art in the Park
Roundhay is special to me as it was my place of birth and it’s always been a significant part of my life. This is one of the largest city parks in Europe and a great place to unwind, with great tree lined walks, woodland and rolling green landscape surrounding two lakes including Waterloo Lake with the great Lakeside Restaurant cafe-bar.
Our events here will see a growing number of talented artists and crafters displaying their work in their own gazebos lining the paths through the park.
The inaugral AiTP event took place on the 27th and 28th September 2025!

Art in the City
The first AiTC happened on 2nd May 2025 at Wellington Place, Leeds!
Artists and crafters sold a variety of quality and interesting work from their gazebos in the historic and vibrant west Leeds commercial district, surrounded by alfresco café bars and restaurants.
The event was centred around the prominent heritage Wagon Hoist legacy structure of the old Leeds railway station, now a railway and tram museum, just five minutes’ walk from Leeds City Square in the wide boulevards of the city’s west end.
Artists from LAU – Leeds Arts University – also took part as part of the CANVAS print festival.
Art House Art Fayres
It all began beside the sizzling energy of Market Kitchen in Leeds Kirkgate Market, where the aroma of street food mingled with the scent of fresh paint, and creativity thrived. Amidst the buzz of traders and the hum of conversation, the first art fair took shape — a vibrant showcase of talent, where paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media found their audience. Artists brought their craft to life before eager eyes, sharing their techniques, their stories, and their passion.
As the momentum grew, so did the vision. The fair found another home within the grand walls of Leeds Corn Exchange, a masterpiece of architecture and history—one of the most awe-inspiring venues in the country. Here, beneath its magnificent dome, curious shoppers, wandering tourists, and devoted art lovers gathered, drawn by the promise of discovery. Now, seven years on, what started as a spark has become a movement, a thriving celebration of artistry that continues to evolve, reaching ever further, ready for the next chapter.
